What we offer
As a Maintenance Engineer in projects, you will work to ensure the operational reliability of equipment by focusing on functional safety, maintainability, and maintenance safety in the early phases of projects. You will work closely with project managers and technicians & equipment engineers (our customers) in the area where the new/modified equipment will be installed/commissioned. For this position, we are looking for a team member with broad technical competence in both electrical/control and mechanics, with previous experience in maintenance-related work in equipment projects, preferably within the automotive industry.
About the role
In the role of Maintenance Engineer in projects, you will work with conceptual solutions in the early phases of equipment projects. You will be involved in RFQ development and evaluations of equipment suppliers. Performing design reviews, inspections, and tests from a maintenance perspective is also included in the role. You are expected to work with established standards as a foundation and ensure their implementation, as well as reviewing and evaluating existing and newly installed equipment.
Other tasks include preparing operational reliability setups for production equipment, consisting of:
- Spare parts preparation
- Maintenance plan for preventive maintenance
- Documentation review
- Planning & preparing training setups and content
You may also lead and coordinate networks for different types of equipment.
You and your skills
You who apply have a university degree or a high school education focused on electrical/control or technology/maintenance. You have good PC skills including the Office package, especially experience with Excel. We see that you have documented experience and competence from maintenance work within industrial automation and workshop tasks. To succeed in the role, good pedagogical skills and the ability to lead work along with strong communication skills are needed. Experience in leading improvement projects related to production equipment and knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo) and TPM/VDM is advantageous.

We also see that you are used to working in a structured and analytical manner and that you are flexible in being able to reprioritize and shift focus among your tasks when required. You are proficient in communicating in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
